The Nigerians in London plan to stage a protest, come 7th of March 2014, concerning the killing of 43 FGC Yobe students and the 20 Borno Girls that are still missing. Please what are the Nigerians in Nigeria doing about this?

Hit sci-fi TV series Heroes is set to return for 13 new episodes next year under the title Heroes Reborn, it has been announced.
US network NBC is keeping quiet on whether any of the mythology’s original cast will be starring, but “visionary creator” Tim Kring will be directing once again.
“The enormous impact Heroes had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,”Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement.
“Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment.
“We look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”
Masi Oka, who played Hiro Nakamura, hinted at a possible return on Twitter after the remake was promoted during NBC’s weekend Winter Olympics coverage.
NBC also plans to introduce new characters and a self-contained plot to the show through a digital series released ahead of its return.
The original series of Heroes also featured Hayden Panettiere, Zachary Quinto, Jack Coleman, Milo Ventimiglia, Adrian Pasdar and Ali Larte as ordinary people who wake up to find they have superpowers. An average of 14.5 million viewers tuned into the first season in 2006 but ratings later plummeted and it was axed in 2010 after a bizarre travelling circus was introduced. Many fans felt let down by the lack of a single conclusion, but this has left the show more open to a reboot.

At his concert yesterday Thursday 27th February 2014, the “Blurred Lines” singer put on a brave face as he got on stage to entertain his fans.

“For those of you that don’t know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago…yeah…but I want everyone to know I am trying to get my girl back”, he said to a cheering crowd.

Robin then dedicated “Lost Without You” to her. This last picture though, LOL!

Muslim groups claim Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' video is blasphemous

In the latest ‘racist music video’ accusation, Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” has sparked an online petition demanding it be pulled from YouTube, with some Muslims claiming it is blasphemous.
More than 50,000 Muslims have pledged their support for the video to be removed because of an offending scene, which shows an Islamic necklace burned by lightning shot from Perry’s fingers.
Shazad Iqbal of Bradford, West Yorkshire, who started the Change.org petition, said the burning of the pendant with the Arabic word for God was "blasphemous" and "distasteful".“At 01.15 into the video 'Dark Horse', a man is shown being burned, whilst wearing a pendant (also burned) forming the word 'Allah', which is the Arabic word for God,” Iqbal wrote
“Such goes to show, that blasphemy is clearly conveyed in the video, since Katy Perry (who appears to be representing an opposition of God) engulfs the believer and the word God in flames.”
He added: “Using the name of God in an irrelevant and distasteful manner would be considered inappropriate by any religion.
Most signatures so far have come from Britain, but people from Muslim countries such as Pakistan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have also entered into the debate.

“Absolutely disgusted at the music industry for allowing this to happen,” wrote Bilal Khan from Birmingham. “Music should be about spreading love not hate.”
Faeezah Shaik from South Africa also commented: “Artists should consider the impact their ‘art’ would have on society and not just go ahead and do things for the sake of being controversial.”
Perry is also seen pole-dancing with bizarre cat-human bodyguards in her latest video, which has amassed over 30 million views.The US pop star grew up in a devout Christian home as both her parents were traveling Pentecostal ministers. She started her career singing Christian Gospel music before deciding to change track.
Perry recently told Marie Claire that she now has no identification with any religion or “old man sitting on a throne” but still feels “a deep connection with God”.

Kim Kardashian exits with $500,000 gig and escapes over touchy Billonaire

The Keeping Up wit the Kardashians star is the centre of a new controversy.

81-year old European billionaire Richard Lugner invited Kanye West‘s fiancée to be his date to the 2014 Vienna Annual Opera Ball held in Austria yesterday Thursday 27th February 2014.

The Austrian business mogul is known for inviting top starlets to be his date; Paris Hilton had the “honour” in 2007.

Kim K reportedly got a whopping $500,000 for the gig. She arrived at the event dressed in a Ralph Rucci Spring 2014 creation, with Lugner by her side. Her momager Kris Jenner was also at the event.

TMZ reports that Kim claims Lugner was aggressive, grabbing her and imploring her to lose security so he can be alone with her.

It is also being alleged that a man came to her in a black face acting like Kanye West. She left his side and continued with her evening.

A while later, a man came to meet Kim and asked her to dance. She revealed that she wasn’t a good dancer; the man responded with a racial remark stating she would dance if the orchestra played “N****rs in Vienna”.  He was referencing Kanye’s song – “N****rs in Paris”.

After the incident, she left. The billionaire told reporters that “Kim is annoying me because she’s not sticking to the program”. Btw, i love the outfit. What do you guys think?

Man sues McDonald's for $1.5m!!

A man is suing McDonald’s for $1.5m in a dispute allegedly sparked off by the fact that he was given only one napkin with his meal.Webster Lucas claimed he is “unable to work” due to the “emotional distress” caused by the incident at the outlet in Pacoima, California 
Lucas launched the lawsuit following the confrontation on 29 January.
He claimed he was given one serviette when he ordered a quarter pounder deluxe, but when he went to the counter to ask for more, the manager refused to give him any.
Lucas, who is African-American, alleged that the Mexican-American manager was racist towards him and mumbled something that sounded like “you people”.
He subsequently emailed the fast-food chain to complain, saying has had suffered “undue mental anguish” as a result of the incident.
According to a source, he was

offered free burgers, but is now seeking $1.5m in compensation.

Moyes Out!

A Manchester United fan has gone to desperate lengths to show his disdain for David Moyes by getting a tattoo that asks for his dismissal.

Moyes has been the butt of all jokes on the internet, but this anonymous fan certainly isn't laughing as he got the permanent mark on his own bottom.
Under Moyes, United have gone from champions to a lowly seventh in the table and are already out of the FA Cup and League Cup. Their final chance at a trophy, the Champions League, looks an increasingly unlikely possibility too after they lost 2-0 to Olympiacos in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday.
Of course, if Moyes does what Sir Alex Ferguson did at United and turns the club around after a slow start, then this fan is going to look like even more of an idiot than he does already.

Back in 2009, a Manchester City fan was left embarrassed after having 'Kaka' tattooed on his chest before the AC Milan star snubbed the club in favour of a move to Real Madrid. He then decided to get a Robinho tattoo which didn't work out too well either.
There must have been something in the Manchester water back in 2009 because another City fan got a tattoo saying "Manchester City – 2011 Champions League winners" with a picture of the European Cup when the club did not even qualify for the competition that season.

While just last September, a Liverpool fan got a tattoo of Kolo Toure’s name on his foot (a questionable move in the first place), only to then later realise the tattoo artist spelt the player's name 'Kolo Touro.'
So Red devils, if you really must get a tattoo, how about getting something like 'mum'  or my name? *wink*eh?

Davido flaunts gold-plated iPhone

Over time, many celebrities have used the internet as a place to flaunt their riches. This they do by posting their gadgets, bags and others on various social media platforms. Some of these items, especially bags, have been tagged 'fake' by few fans.

Not too long ago, Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji showed off her gold-plated iPhone and Davido has now followed suit.

The singer, fondly called 'Omo Baba Olowo', recently posted his own customized gold-plated iPhone on his Instagram page. See the picture below.
